Bean Counter Coffee Roasters is a small batch coffee roaster based in Modesto, California

We roast to order (currently once a week), and only a limited amount of inventory (roasted coffee) is posted on the website for sale. If you have a question or a special order or request, please send us an e-mail (beancountercoffeeroasters@gmail.com)

This is not your average coffee, how so?

• It's fresh. Do you know how long ago your coffee was roasted? Coffee beans come from a coffee cherry, which is grown on a shrub / small tree. The taste and smell diminishes quickly and the freezer can't stop that.
• We only buy high quality, 'specialty grade' green coffee to roast. By high quality, we mean it has to pass a minimum quality score of 80 points (see the Specialty Coffee Association of America for more details if you are interested: www.scaa.org)
• We roast to order in small batches, there is no assembly / production line here.

i.e. BCCR coffee is not for everyone and that is okay.

Coffee is currently available for pick-up from my house in the college area of downtown Modesto, CA or local delivery (delivery fee applies). Merchandise (T-Shirts, etc) can be shipped - $5 flat rate shipping per order.
